Our stunning new 73-bed home, currently under construction and due to open its doors in December 2019, will offer our residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop/bar, activities/cinema room, hair and nail salon and libraries on each floor, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology.
Working as part of a close-knit dedicated care team, you will be expected to support the Home Manager in providing exceptional, person-centred care to the residents of the Home, ensuring a warm, happy and homely environment is maintained at all times and supporting each of the residents to remain as active and independent as possible within the constraints of their condition.
Full and part-time opportunities will be available to work days and/or nights, to include some weekends.
Applicants should be honest, trustworthy and reliable team-players with a proactive approach to person-centred care and ideally previous, recent experience in a similar role. Outstanding communication skills are essential, as is a flexible approach to working hours.
Candidates should also be of a kind and caring nature, with a passion for helping others and making a difference to people lives.
Previous experience of working within a care home environment is also desirable.
A pay rate of £8.21 p/h (negotiable, depending on experience) will apply.

We are currently recruiting full and/or part-time Nurses to work day and/or night shifts, to include some weekends.
You will be expected to lead shifts by example and provide excellent levels of clinical care to those residents with nursing requirements, whilst supporting your nurse and care colleagues in ensuring at all times a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for all residents and their visitors.
Applicants should be qualified, hard-working RGN’s or RMN’s who can demonstrate a caring, enthusiastic nature and a commitment to providing exceptional levels of nursing care. Post-qualification experience, along with a good working knowledge of dementia care and previous experience of working in a nursing home setting is highly desirable, however applications will also be considered from newly-qualified Nurses and from Nurses keen to change direction and develop their careers within the care sector.
A competitive salary of £18p/h awaits successful candidates.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be expected to support the Registered Manager in providing exceptional, person-centred care to residents, assuming wide-ranging responsibilities including leading shifts, developing and updating care plans, administering medication as appropriate and supporting each of the residents to remain as active and independent as possible within the constraints of their condition.
Opportunities will be available to work day and/or night shifts, to some include weekends.
Applicants should be honest, trustworthy and reliable team-players with a proactive approach to person-centred care and previous, recent experience in a similar role. Outstanding communication skills are essential, as are natural leadership skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
Candidates must also have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be of a kind and caring nature, with a passion for helping others and making a difference to people lives.
Previous experience of working within dementia care is also highly desirable.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be support the Chef and Registered Manager in ensuring a fantastic dining experience is offered to The Oaks’ residents at all times, with duties to include:
Applicants should be strong team-players, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. An enthusiasm and skill for cooking is essential, as is an appreciation of the importance of the mealtime experience for our residents.
Ideally, candidates will also be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in kitchen environments and have an up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate.

Our stunning new 73-bed home, currently nearing completion, will offer residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop/bar, activities/cinema room, hair and nail salon and libraries on each floor, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for providing a clean and beautifully presented environment for our residents, whilst also ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to and effective infection control is maintained at all times. Flexibility to work between the Home’s domestic and laundry departments may well be required.
Applicants should be strong team-players, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Furthermore, post-holders must be able to demonstrate significant previous experience of undertaking cleaning and laundry, gained either in work or domestic environments.
